Education for Wellbeing Programme

 

The Department for Education commissioned the Anna Freud National Centre for Children and Families to run the Education for Wellbeing programme from July 2018 – February  2020. The Anna Freud Centre is working with over 370 schools in the Education for Wellbeing programme in England’s largest trial of school based mental health interventions. They will be working to evaluate pioneering ways of supporting the mental wellbeing of pupils.

 

We are proud that our school has become an official Research Partner in the Education for Wellbeing programme, that began February 2019.Our school will be taking part in the Education for Wellbeing AWARE project for Year 9, implementing and evaluating:

Youth Aware of Mental Health (YAM) – a mental health promotion programme delivered by external professionals over five consecutive weeks
